Cold and grey…

I missed taking the weekly photo when we had our brief covering of snow this week – there was a window of about ten minutes when the sun came out, but unfortunately I was elbow deep in dirty dishes at the time, so camera couldn’t be accessed – when the sun disappeared for good it just looked so grey I decided to stay in and keep warm – no dedication!

I did manage to get out and find a little bit of inspiration, despite the cold, and headed off to Hall Green, just down the road from work. It’s a nice little church, built in the Queen Anne style, apparently, in 1704. Most of the time it’s hidden by trees, and I’ve only noticed it this winter when the foliage has gone – I may have to go back when it’s sunnier, as it’s a pretty depressing view at the moment!
